HEADS UP EVERYBODY!!

As the construction of the Broadway Subway Line is underway WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALLOWING EXTRA TIME TO FIND PARKING.

We suggest looking for 2 hour free parking in the residential streets around 11th and Ontario, meter parking up Main or on 8th Ave, around Jonathan Rogers park, Dude Chilling Park, or paid underground parking in The Rise building if you’re in a time pinch!

There may be some unfortunate construction noise at the entrance of our building, but inside the studio it’s cozy and quiet :)

_

NOTICE: Due to increased security measures in the building, we will only be able to buzz you into the building when we are expecting you.

Please refrain from arriving more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment time.

Thank you and we appreciate your understanding!

Can’t find a booking time? Remember to add yourself to our waitlists and we will reach out if we have a cancellation!

See you soon,

The Kaya Crew

** On Maternity Leave as of September 2025 **

Shelby has always had a passion for health, wellness, and the human body. After nearly a decade of working in a conventional health care setting and since graduating from Langara College in 2019, she began to realize the impact of the mind-body connection and how important patient empowerment and autonomy is for the healing process.

Shelby’s intuitive and holistic approach addresses both the physical and mental aspects that are present with almost all conditions whether it is an injury, chronic pain, pregnancy-related, day-to-day stress, muscle tension, systemic disease, or mental health disorder and focuses on bringing awareness to the body to not only restore optimal function but also inspire overall well-being to achieve your highest potential. She believes everyone should feel at home in their own body, and that is always her goal.

Shelby personalizes each treatment by employing many modalities in her practice such as myo-fascial release, trigger-point therapy, Swedish massage, pre and post-natal massage, neuromuscular therapy, joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and cranial sacral therapy.

In her free time, you can find Shelby participating in activities that ground her such as exploring in nature, practicing yoga and meditation, tackling a new craft, or curled up at home with a good book and her cat.

Kristen completed her 4 year Osteopathic education from the Canadian School of Osteopathy in Vancouver in 2023.

Osteopathic care is a holistic, harmonious approach to full mind/body health, that differs based on your unique body. After personally experiencing the tremendous benefits of osteopathy for chronic hip pain, Kristen knew she wanted to become an osteopathic practitioner. Recognizing the body’s ability to heal itself and her role in helping to facilitate and support that process, Kristen loves helping people optimize their health and improve their quality of life.

Kristen has also practiced as a Registered Massage Therapist in Vancouver since 2014. She truly loves her work and finds anatomy and physiology endlessly fascinating. She has experience treating a wide variety of conditions and injuries, tailoring your treatment to your individual needs. Using a combination of joint mobilization, muscle energy technique, myofascial release, visceral and craniosacral techniques, the goal of Kristen’s treatment is to encourage self-regulation within the body, reduce pain, restore mobility and improve function.

Kristen has called Vancouver home for the past 13 years and enjoys everything the city has to offer. In her free time she loves walking, yoga, riding her bike, traveling and hanging out with her cat Hefner. _

Michele’s love for running is what originally brought her to massage therapy. After years of mileage on her feet and a series of injuries, it was during her recovery that she discovered the restorative benefits of massage therapy and began pursuing a career as an RMT.

Encouraging the body to reduce tension while increasing mobility, her treatment style includes combining her assessments into techniques of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization and active/passive stretching.

Michele’s experience includes treating acute and chronic overuse injuries, sports rehabilitation, pre and post-natal massage and discomfort incurred from long hours working at a desk. Her intent is to return your body to a place of balance and she encourages clients to be an active part of the recovery process by providing informative client education and personalized home care.

When she’s not at Therapy Health Studio, you can find her running the seawall, at the beach enjoying the sun, or hiking the North Shore Mountains.

Please Note: I will be transitioning to a new clinic as of April 1, 2026

We all have our own unique experiences and needs. My goal is to provide an inclusive, non-judgmental space that meets you where you’re at and helps you get to where you’d like to be. Massage can be beneficial both physically and mentally, especially when you can feel truly at ease knowing that you will be supported and understood.

I graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College in 2022. I work with a range of techniques and pressure levels that are tailored to your individual needs. I tend to offer a firm but slower approach to help maintain control and allow time for feedback from you and your tissues, enabling relief and relaxation to coexist.

Communication and consent are important to me. My aim is to empower you to communicate your needs regarding your body, mind, and personal space at any point before, during, or after treatment.

I’m a big advocate for mental health, with my own lived experience navigating that journey. My hope is that this understanding deepens the support I can provide through massage therapy, which is a space where both body and mind can find relief.

Overall, I am curious, compassionate, and a bit of a goofball. Outside the clinic, I’m a devoted cat mom to Enid, a lover of arts and culture, and a firm believer in doing what brings you joy!
