Hi! Looking forward to seeing you.

HEADS UP EVERYBODY!!

As the construction of the Broadway Subway Line is underway WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALLOWING EXTRA TIME TO FIND PARKING.

We suggest looking for 2 hour free parking in the residential streets around 11th and Ontario, meter parking up Main or on 8th Ave, around Jonathan Rogers park, Dude Chilling Park, or paid underground parking in The Rise building if you’re in a time pinch!

There may be some unfortunate construction noise at the entrance of our building, but inside the studio it’s cozy and quiet :)

See you soon,

Tara’s biggest value that she brings to every table is authenticity. It’s important her clients feel they can bring their full selves into the treatment room with ease.

Being naturally curious, compassionate, and eager to learn and grow, Tara’s always held an interest in anatomy and movement. While not an athlete, Tara enjoys various forms of exercise such as powerlifting, flow arts, dance, yoga, and roller skating. She’s a firm believer in doing what brings you joy, in whatever capacity that may be! Allowing those good vibes to lead her to try new things.

Tara is a big advocate for mental health, with her own understanding of that experience. My hope is that this understanding lends to the support she can provide through her massage practice.

Her favourite way to wind down is listening to music and immersing herself into an art project, or curling up with her adorable cat and reading a book.

Direct billing available for a variety of insurance providers including but not limited to Pacific Blue Cross, Canada Life, Group Source, Manulife, ClaimSecure, etc.

Shelby has always had a passion for health, wellness, and the human body. After nearly a decade of working in a conventional health care setting and since graduating from Langara College in 2019, she began to realize the impact of the mind-body connection and how important patient empowerment and autonomy is for the healing process.

Shelby’s intuitive and holistic approach addresses both the physical and mental aspects that are present with almost all conditions whether it is an injury, chronic pain, pregnancy-related, day-to-day stress, muscle tension, systemic disease, or mental health disorder and focuses on bringing awareness to the body to not only restore optimal function but also inspire overall well-being to achieve your highest potential. She believes everyone should feel at home in their own body, and that is always her goal.

Shelby personalizes each treatment by employing many modalities in her practice such as myo-fascial release, trigger-point therapy, Swedish massage, pre and post-natal massage, neuromuscular therapy, joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and cranial sacral therapy.

In her free time, you can find Shelby participating in activities that ground her such as exploring in nature, practicing yoga and meditation, tackling a new craft, or curled up at home with a good book and her cat.

Michele’s love for running is what originally brought her to massage therapy. After years of mileage on her feet and a series of injuries, it was during her recovery that she discovered the restorative benefits of massage therapy and began pursuing a career as an RMT.

Encouraging the body to reduce tension while increasing mobility, her treatment style includes combining her assessments into techniques of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization and active/passive stretching.

Michele’s experience includes treating acute and chronic overuse injuries, sports rehabilitation, pre and post-natal massage and discomfort incurred from long hours working at a desk. Her intent is to return your body to a place of balance and she encourages clients to be an active part of the recovery process by providing informative client education and personalized home care.

When she’s not at Therapy Health Studio, you can find her running the seawall, at the beach enjoying the sun, or hiking the North Shore Mountains.
